Legend of the Eudonia Bird

Eudonia bears an olive branch, a symbol of hope and peace. Eudonia is a mythic bird and the mascot of our organization. It resembles the American Swallow-tailed Kite and the Greek Helidoni. In Greek legend, the bird Helidoni represents beauty, grace, love, and loyalty. Every spring the birds favor the almond tree for their nesting place.
